We offer eight high-quality lakeside cottages in Mikkeli's countryside by the lake Kyyvesi. Each cottage is unique and designed to meet different needs. Equipped with all modern comforts, each has a private beach and sauna. The surrounding area offers excellent spots for fishing.

Lake Kyyvesi is a large, peaceful lake known for its excellent fishing and unspoiled nature. With over 400 islands and wide open waters, it offers plenty of space to explore and find your own fishing spots.
The lake is about 26 kilometers long, and its width varies between 1 and 9 kilometers. The total surface area is 133 square kilometers.
The water level of the lake was lowered by 1.78 meters in 1869–1870. Today, this can be seen in the large number of small islands and the rocky nature of the lake. The tips of islands and peninsulas, especially in the southeastern parts of the lake, often continue far underwater as shallow areas, even if no rocks are visible above the surface. These hidden rocks can be dangerous for boat propellers, but they are also excellent spots where fish tend to gather along the edges.
Lake Kyyvesi is well known for its strong zander population, making it an exciting destination for anglers looking for a real catch. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for all skill levels. In addition to zander, perch and pike are abundant and relatively easy to catch, giving you a high chance of success on every trip. With its naturally healthy fish stocks—including pike, perch and zander, Kyyvesi provides a rewarding and authentic Finnish fishing experience in clean, peaceful surroundings.

Two bedrooms + two beds upstairs

Koivu is a spacious cottage right alongside the lake. There are four single beds and one double bed. Try both the indoor electric sauna, and the wooden sauna in a separate building! A spacious living room right next to a well-equipped kitchen creates an open concept feel to the cottage. Set a fire to the fireplace in the living room to create a warmer atmosphere.

The cozy feeling of Mänty is traditional Finnish cottage. There are two double beds and two single beds. Fully equipped kitchen, toilets and a shower. The separate building outside also has a small terrace and a cute little space to hang out next to the sauna.

Kataja is compact but very homey. There is one bedroom with a twin bed + three beds upstairs in an open space. During summer a separate building outside offers a private place to sleep (beds for two). There is a beautiful yard right between the cottage and the lake to hang out and maybe eat outside under birch trees. Grilling area included!

Kotkanpesä is the most different from the other cottages due to the surrounding environment. There is a bedroom with a double bed, one double bed and one single bed in an open space upstairs + during summer a small separate cabin building for two.

Cottage Kielo has amazing lakeviews from the windows of the cottage. There are two bedrooms, combined living room and the kitchen. There are both indoor and outdoor saunas.
